The term Bluetooth describes an industry standard for short-distance wireless connections. This technology allows connecting mobile devices and GPS receivers, provided both support the Bluetooth standard.
With most devices the Bluetooth connection has to be established initially. Prior to this please make sure that Bluetooth is active, as indicated by a flashing blue light on your receiver. Now please go to your mobile device's Bluetooth Manager and perform a search for other Bluetooth devices in the proximity. Please consult the manual if you aren't sure where to find the Bluetooth Manager. Your GPS receiver should now be visible in the list. Some devices may prompt you to put in a password while still accepting a blank field. If a connection can not be established without putting in a password, please type four times "0": "0000" (With the new BiCeiver it is "0183").
